Hi! I'm Mike Montoya, I am the owner of Maverick Woodwork. Since you will be welcoming me into your home, I thought I would share a bit about myself. I am 29 years old, born and raised in Southern California. I went to Vanguard University and graduated with a business degree. For over a decade, I helped my dad with his construction business and when my plans changed due to the pandemic I decided to take that knowledge and experience and start a company of my own and I found my passion with carpentry. I can truly say I love what I do!

Maverick means unorthodox or unique and that's what I want to accomplish with each staircase I build for my clients, and help their vision come to life. Maverick is also the name of my 4 year old black lab and best friend. When I get days off I am spending time with my wife and dogs.
